Talk About Talk: A Synopsis
"Talk About Talk" was written as a result of the many years of advice given to parents of children with speech and language delays. It is a direct result of Melissa's interaction with families with whom she has worked. In our microscopic world, everything, from a child's first smile to their first attempts at mobility, is magnified.

Sometimes the advice given by our grandmothers, learned from their day and time, might not seem very "haute couture". Yet such advice still has value in today's age.

"Talk About Talk" esentially combines speech and language facts with practical advice for parent's living today's highly urbanized lifestyle. My book is designed as a guide to all parents who want maximize their children's language potential. You do not have to wait for your child to be communicatively challenged before doing so! "Talk About Talk" celebrates the development of the child and then provides information on how to help your child if s/he does not achieve the milestones that child is expected to make.
